So your two logs gets you 160 vs one wet plank pallet gives you 180. You are losing 10 euro's for every log you sell. Also in one trip the flatbed truck carries seven pallets. Can you carry more than fourteen logs in a trip? Those debarked logs are large.
So I guess the fastest way is to just make the crates sleep a week repeat until the mill is paid. Plus once you get a haul of vegetables from your greenhouse your return on the food dishes is just as good as the lumber.
So on one game I've got 95.8 hours logged. I know I'm doing it the hard way. And with this latest hotfix. When you sleep a week your flowers go bad, which I don't quite understand.
In 15 trips you can sell 105 wet pallets for 18,800 euro's. You can make all those trips in one long day of driving. In two days I had all the money I needed to by my own truck and forest land.
After that it was log 20-30 trees then start selling. When the land is cleared buy another forest. Keep a close eye on bark chips as they add up really fast. When you need a change of pace go do a sheep quest and stock up on mushrooms and herbs. Somewhere in there I did the second James quest to help Lilly out and learn about herbs. No transport jobs or lawn mowing jobs.
I am retired so I have a lot of free time but 16 days is a long time to make it to level 3 not to mention the long hours of play.
All good points you made and maybe once you have all the good equipment that's the way to go but when your just starting out cash is king. How much extra land do you need to purchase and log off to buy the good equipment and then pay off uncle. When a forest gives you 400-500 logs your losing 4,000 - 5,000 euros. Times 8 (forests) and your talking 32,000-40,000 euros that could have gone towards you debt.
I started a new play thru last night to see if I could shorten the time even more. Maybe you could start a new game and play it your way and we can compare notes when Uncle is paid off and we reach level three.

Also if you park a vehicle at the mill gate it will hold it open forever.

The only problem here is you, since you obviously refuse to bring these logs to the timber market.
Is it really a surprise for you that the log storage is overcrowded if you keep storing logs? What did you expect would happen? The logs growing some legs and walking to the market on their own feet?
