There is no specific way to make money faster. Cutting trees takes a short period of time however you can sell them for a small amount. Daily quests can net you between 500-1200 per game day ( plus social points ). Every 10 days you can sell 7 dry board for over £2k. It really is a long haul game and future updates ( inc making furniture ) will enable to make money faster.

It's not about making money as such, it's more about living the life and making some money along the way. If all goes well, development wise, you could play the same game for months or even years.

Isnt it this way in real life ? Unless you win the lottery of course :steamhappy:

This is a lumberjack simulator. It's not "The Lotto King," and it's not "how to be a millionaire in two days."
It just takes time to make money. We sell wooden boards - how much profit do you expect per day? Diligence and continuity ensure your progress, but gradually and not immediately.

As the game evolves, there will be many other ways to pass the time, which you can use to make your day more varied. But you shouldn't expect to get rich quickly.

Is it worth paying uncle back? and sure I ain't expecting to get rich but within the first 20 hours I'm expecting a new vehicle with no a crane for example or something along them lines
Merck Jun 20, 2020 @ 9:10am
At this stage of development it would be hard to pay uncle back for the properties. As more features get added to the game, there will be many more ways to generate revenue. Such as furniture building, livestock, & greenhouse plants/food/recipes, etc.

Also, I don't think its been changed yet (I haven't really checked recently), the "deal" that the uncle made with you about working the mill & splitting the profit 50/50. So until this is changed, you are just as well off building up your funds, since there is no paying the uncle his half.

Every 10 days you can sell 32 pallets of dry planks for €300 each, netting €9,600. I know, meaningless correction. :)

I have said just over £2k per 7 pallets and in the early stages people may not have enough wood to fill the dryers in one go which is why the most you can get on the flat bed wagon is 7. I have noticed that the price isnt fixed at £2100 ( or £300 per skid/pallet ) as have had payments of £2071 and £2096 in the past too.

You are welcome to correct me anytime :-)

do the quest for the forklift, get your pallet of planks made and just start driving them over, someone suggested that on this forum, not sure who, so whomever you are, it was tedious, but huge thanks,. i did it around 10 times to get the extra 3grand i needed for the flatbed, gee it makes it easier to transport pallets

A lot in these games is about strategy.

I've been doing as many quests as I can as quick as I can. Not buying anything from the stores, except tools that allow me to do quests.

As soon as I was able I switched the sawmill production over to planks and filled the dryers as soon as I could.

After playing for 20hrs I managed to get the Platform truck and as soon as I did I sold everything I had stockpiled.

I have still not felled any of the trees on my home. I found something by mistake that means I didn't have to (won't say what as it felt like something that shouldn't be allowed, going to send the devs a message.) Took a bit of time and legwork, but I still managed to fully fill all my dryers. Do all the construction quests up to John & Mary Quests. Refresh the planks on "vehicle shed" at home and have at 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 loads of chipboard to sell.

I have lots of trees at my home to process and a means to get planks and chipboard that sell for more to the factory (best prices.) I have also started buying ingredients, cooking and selling what I cook. I can now easily afford the nearest forest for sale near my home.

My strategy
Spend as close to nothing as you can
Plant seeds
Stockpile at the lumber-mill
Quest/Missions for money and social points, until I could get something to transport goods.

Now onwards XD

Shame i can't buy seeds lol
Merck Jun 21, 2020 @ 11:27am
Eventually they will re-add the Agriculture Store back to the game, & then you will have a good source of seeds, along with other items to spend your hard earned currency on.
Tivra Jun 21, 2020 @ 1:50pm
Lexa you may not be able to buy seeds but there are missions that give them out, missing sheep mission does and that's daily

Got this game recently and I would say farming helps a lot in progress for beginning since you got good food rewards from starting quest and green house especially chilli pepper sell the highest make about 2 -3k euros but still takes time but not as much while getting logs to afford plank machine to transport but I'm close to it now and haven't played much on it.
