Bark headaches
So we have the lowlander trailer. (Green one) We go to the southwest mill to sell bark. (Same place to sell chip board) Where in gawds name do you go EXACTLY to sell this bark?!? We went to the grate by the silos...nope not the special place. Then we went to every single "place" in that dang sawmill and none of them were the "special place". So is there a special "special" place for bark?

Ah thank you.

We also just found out that we have to raise the trailer and dump the bark at the grate in front of the silos.
So yes...there is a "special" special place.

Always keep your eyes open.
The game tells you literally everything you're searching for. You just need to read the information. :)

Also if any problems, there are a couple guides & a Helpful hints & tips forum. Plus, there are a few "Let's play" videos that display many of the games mechanics.

Tbh, I really don't have time to watch a 1 or 2 hour video. I just want a quick answer and be on my way. The guides that I found kinda suck. There were a few posts that were helpful, but again I just want a basic answer.

So I guess my first post should be helpful for you. :)

With many videos I will often just skip forward through the bar, & stopping only for things that look like they may prove useful. This way I can greatly reduce the time perusing a video.

honestly, my old informatics professor would have let everyone failed who dare to tell "my documentation does not cover that question, but you can watch a bunch of videos there"
he would have let them fail because he would not have the chance to nail them to a tree.

that said, the possibilities to find the "how to play"s ingame are not the worst I've seen. they may range mid field. nice that there is a lazy guy standing around who tells the player what you can do at what spot, PLUS the engineers sight is a good solution for many little problems in this game.

just to repeat once more, I hate this recent videomania where every babboon catches a minute thru a camera and uploads it on youtube just because he lost the possibility to speak in complete and meaningful sentences.
and I hate to be told I should watch a video, it's just the same as if you say "F*c u" to me.
@Merck you know I like and respect you, but this sentence where you explain how to do it with that video just sounds like "F*c U sof~tly"

:applered: so much for the hour of truth, dear fellow monkeys :dpglsrose: have a nice day :cleancake: this cake is the truth

Just trying to give the players as many options as possible. I agree that the game does have many ways it assists the players about how to do various tasks. And I personally like games such as this that don't lead you through each & every step of the game in detail. But there are many players that apparently require more assistance than others.

So my statements about the videos was just another way to display to players that they can use to find how to do some tasks that they are having issues with. Similar to how many will point out about the Search utility built into the forums. Personally I don't normally care to watch others play the games, but would rather play them myself. But I will use all resources available to me, when I am "stumped", & cannot figure out the solution on my own.

But normally I will test & try out all kinds of things that I am sure the developers never even considered a player may try. So for these reasons I have made it a regular practice to save very often. I still do occasionally loose progress in the game, when problems arise, but I don't let it get to me, since I consider it all sort of a "puzzle", that I am trying to figure out all the possible ways that I can complete to get the "prize" at the end.

I was wondering is there any other use for bark other than bark chips, can I make more money form bark another way?

Still bugs me that the planks are in middle of road not inside the marked area. Not sure if that’s intentional or not but it bugs my ocd.

If the bark silo is at 100% full and you continue to strip logs, is the bark stripping lost?

I assume this is so. I thought I had emptied it enough although the last forest I bought had the most trees so far.
