Some solutions and advice for known issues

Runtime Error at start

We have a solution if you have a runtime error when starting into the game and getting to Auntie.

Instead of starting the game from the library on your Steam client start the game directly from game folder in your Steam directory.

This issue should be obsolete with the release version.

MSI Afterburner

MSI Afterburner is known to create some fuzz here and there, so if you run it, deactivate it, if it causes trouble.

Odd graphics

If you encounter odd graphics behaviour check out if Windows assigned the more powerful graphic card instead of an onboard/integrated graphic. Cue: dedicated graphics. Checking and updating your DirectX-Libraries and device drivers to stable recent drivers may help as well.

The NVIDIA Control Panel sometimes doesn't save settings, so you have to correct this behaviour. Check out this post.

Crashes at start

We noticed a increase of Antivirus suites quarantining files which may cause games to crash with all kind of messages. It is always a good idea to check the integrity of the game files via the Steam client if you crash.

Adding a savegame is also suggested. To get the savegame follow this short guide:

Enter %appdata% in the Windows search. There should be a folder "Lumberjack's Dynasty" - within this folder there is another one with the Saves!

The game engine writes an error file named !error.txt, this can be found in the game folder. Please add this file to the mail as well.
