chipboard factory
How do you activate/turn the chipboard factory on?

No need to move the wood chips from the silo next to the dryers. The whole system is automated. The only reason that silo has a spout, is if you were to sell the wood chips to the large mill complex to the southwest. But you will make much more money if you use the wood chips to create chipboards (OSB).

The chipboard factory is fully automatic, & if there is at least 200kg of wood chips in the silo a crate of OSB will be created. Both this factory & the sawmill have a built in buffer, so if you look above where the output points are with Engineer's Sight (ES), then you will see how many crates of each are available to be made.

Just note that the wood chips will not be removed from the silo until the OSB crate is actually made. Each OSB crate takes 200kg.

As of right now there is no way to turn it on or off. It is always on and running.

So do you need to drop the woodchips inside the yellow and black area?

chipboard pallets, there is no easy way to bring truck to it? kinda weid to bring truck inside..
Merck Feb 25, 2021 @ 8:41am
There are multiple ways you can move the chipboard pallets. I have used the forklift to pickup & move the pallets out from the creation spot to an area under the shed, or just outside somewhere.

I have also just pushed the pallets out & away from the creation spot, to some area that I can drive next to with the flatbed truck.

But I have to admit that I often just pull the truck straight into the area next to where the pallets are created, & load them directly from there.

No i meant that i can load it on a truck, its just looks like there is driveways but not being wide enough for a comfortable load. Looks like early access built and never revised.

Actually in such factories IRL it is tight as well, but it is doable to get inside even with a bus mate :D
