Stuck in the big saw mill building! help!

I just started playing and as I was repairing the sawmill I got stuck unter the walkway in the big building. I was kinda just sliding over it and then suddenly found myself under it, with no way out.

I tried moving around but I can't bug myself out of there. I've also not found any help online as the most common stuck glitches are with the vehicles but I'm by foot so I can't tow.

As I only got 1 1/2 hours so far it would'nt be that bad to start again, but thats annoying...

try going to the map screen and clicking on the icon for your pickup, that should teleport you directly to the vehicle.

If you have a vehicle you can teleport to that vehicle in the map (M) view. Just click on the icon for the vehicle.

Are you in the actual sawmill or the Chipboard factory. That is the one that usually has the slippery walkway (yes this is a known bug, & the developers are working on it). You should be able to walk around to one of the sides & work you way out. I was just in the same location earlier today.

If you are in the Sawmill, & under stuck near the river side, where the logs come in. I have found that I can jump back & forth to the various shaft areas, eventually getting up on top of where the logs pass through. From there I can jump back onto the platform on the side towards the river.

And finally, it is highly recommended to save often for early access games, Plus cycle through at least a couple save slots. This will give you the most protection for such issues.
