A way to stop wasting planks?
Hello,

When using the dried plank pallets I've noticed that sometimes you will only have two planks left in the pallet. While you can use them to upgrade/fix a building often you will have multiple upgrade points. I.E. (A wall section will typically have four such points.)

Meaning you can use them on one point on the wall but as that particular "pallet ran out" you lose all progress/planks you used. Is there a possible way to "combine" partially filled pallets? I.E. Pallet "A" has 4 planks left and pallet "B" has 50. Could you combine the two to make one pallet with 54?

Anyways, I have been loving the game so far and am looking forward to seeing what new things get added.

Watch for sections that require less upgrade (hammers).
  • Doors often only 2
  • Window frames 2 or 3
  • Trim 1
  • Some wall sections - with windows have only 3
Also, it is recommended to place all scaffolding prior to upgrading, that way you won't have to switch mid-way completing a section that you found all of a sudden has a "hammer" that is too hard to reach. Any switching to another tool will loose them materials.

Currently no way to combine pallets, which I believe has been asked about previously.
But as this is very early access, I am sure many things will continue to be changed or adjusted as the game develops.

At the moment you can't merge partially filled pallets.

But aside from this I recommend you not to waste the dried planks for building purposes. You can always renovate any buildings with "wet" planks.
The dried planks are much more supposed to be sold since you get much more money for dried than for wet planks.
