The Future of Tinytopia

This discussion thread will be used to give some ideas to the development team on the game and to hear your opinions on the game as well!. Hopefully this discussion will be helpful and useful for people who can use this discussion thread to pitch in some wild and creative ideas for this wonderful game!

Some of my ideas are to hopefully add in more Natural Disasters, like a Giant Death Robot or a Thunder Storm.

Perhaps they can add in some more buildings like a larger skyscraper for residential, a Harbor, a University, etc. Perhaps they can add in the basic usage like Water and Sewage since they got Power down.

Instead of placing down First Responders to the scene, I would rather dispatch them to a location, So I can see them getting out of a Fire Station or at least spawn on the road that's near the Fire Station, and see them race to the scene. I would love to see Cops have a shootout with the criminals, which can be just dots or paint balls since this game has a toyish feel to it. I would also love to see the Ambulance take the people and race to the hospital.

These are all just my opinions and ideas for the game. I can't wait for it to come out! I will definitely be the first ones to buy it!

the game needs more decoration objects & overall more differently looking buildings
the stacking/merging is a neat idea & offers already a variety of differently looking options but more in such a game is never too much

after a gazillion of additional packs for Cities Skylines there is also a myriad of mods available, a tiny portion of that amount, maybe 10% would be great for Tinytopia

the same models in different colors would be also nice or a tool to Paint The Town

Gardens, Gardens & Gardens !!!
Trees, Trees & Trees !!!
Markets, Markets & Markets !!!

the streets are also a bit empty, more objects like the Skateboardpark would be nice

farming, different industries for differernt ressources, like Wood, Metal, Stone, Glas, Paint, Textile, nothing very complicated but just more options to make a lively towns of different feel & not just shops & residential buildings but also Producing Buildings !!!
the Farms are quite horrible tbh

Wish the rotation was more than just for set options, that the option to rotate and pan up was a bit more fluid and could show all sorts of angles

I'm so glad you liked it! When this game first came out as a test, I immediately hoped on to play it. It reminds me of Simcity which I am a big fan of. Thank you for this awesome game! I have yet to buy the game due to low funds but once I do, I'll play as much as possible and give you some more feedback and ideas! Hopefully you keep in touch with this thread!

BUT it would be a fun fit if tied into a store/restaurant-themed update with a wafflehouse, coffee shop, patisserie, grocery store, donut shop, pizzeria, etc. Yeah, yeah?

Honestly, as far as the future, everyone wants to see "more" (as in buildings)... even more combinations with existing units to make better ones.... I was thinking about how your schools work. Seems the first block is elementary, but then the next one is high school... what would happen if you combined 4 high schools into a college? It would be cool if said college besides jobs made your emergency services cheaper because the fireman, doctors and cops could go get educated right there.... I think terraforming the maps you get would be cool... pay some money and level the terrain for more building.... maybe have construction units that need their own building like police/fire/hospital does....

the education buildings are lacking - how about a university?
The improvements - just a skate park? What about amusement park / water slides/roller-coaster - heck a whole roller-coaster lever where you build ON a costar? How about just a park with swing-sets ? Forest park - national monument(s) camping grounds...
how about building on a hamburger the biggest fast food stand ever?
What about having underground bunkers? Military bases! THE THINGS ALL THE THINGS.
Also a giant cake level that isn't a lie.

1# Female Mayor Statue
2# Sandbox Mode with Cash
3# Dinner Building
4# Planes that come and go from airport
5# Farm titles That have pastures with Cows
6# Farm House
7# A Bedroom Sandbox map where the hole room can be built in
8# Fairgrounds/circus
9# a Zoo
10# Fountine Decorations and Water Pool tiles
11# Replace Currency/cash With Plastic (sense your basicly building a Plastic toy city/town with toy people could even for sandbox mode have a resource gathering instead of taxes you have a plastic factor with a plastic ore truck that goes harvest plastic in the room to bring to factor to melt down for plastic currency)
12# Army Base That uses Cash/Plastic To train toy soldiers That can Fight the Dino & UFO
13# Co-op sandbox bedroom mode where two players have two seperate citys and can play peacefully togather or use there toy soldiers to take out the other.

Any who those are all my ideas. =)

First of all, I've had a blast with this game since i discovered it yesterday. Sooo satisfying to pop, pop, pop the buildings together. It's like digital bubble wrap :)

That said-

I'll vote against water pipes and sewerage, as well mining for resources, leave that for Simcity and Cities Skylines, I'd rather see more of what makes this game unique, and that's the blueprints. More wonderful or wacky combinations please!

I'd also love to see eating places, restaurants. maybe a plant module, meat module, sauce module, sugar module etc and various combinations of those poof into related restaurants. For example add a meat and sauce segment and get a BBQ place :P

More decorations please! Especially paths and parks. My city needs all the parks! My rooftop gardens are so limited right now (also that skating rink on top of the skyscraper looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen). It's also hard to make parts of the city look unique with just two sets of trees and one garden bed.

Also, kind of weird one, but more cars on the road. My humble little city has like five cars total :P

Just more of what makes this game unique, its an awesome game, it has a cute little art style and its loads of fun to play. It doesn't need to be another remake of every other city game out there.

I'd also love more levels and building styles as DLC in the future. Unpopular I know, but Devs have gotta eat!

Sadly the developers moved on from the game, I don't think it sold very well sadly even all-tho its a cute game, it lack content to keep you intrested long-term and never really took off in sales.

There last news update was Dec 23, 2021 they bin silence ever sense most likely ether they disbanded or working on another game already.

I would not get you're hopes up for any dlc or expansion or any further updates for this game.

Yeah, Dteamspy sadly has them in the 0 .. 20,000 sales range. They had a Halloween update so I was hoping we might get one more.

It's a shame because it's a phenomenal game.
