Need Instructions

I must be dense, because I can't figure out the mechanics to this game. I am playing online multiplayer with my son, but when we each hop and click on identical tiles, nothing happens. How are we supposed to make matches?

Tested just now - everything works as expected. Clicks on tile, it turns purple, if your teammate clicks on identical tile - they will fly to each other and then destroyed.

Can you give us a vide oor screenshot how it looks when nothing happens?

Some matches are possible, but many times one of these two problems occur Some of the tiles light up green when hopped on, but others never light up. Two identical tiles right next to each other, neither will light up green. I can't figure out why some tiles work and others don't. I took screenshots to show the tiles not lighting up, but I am not sure how to embed them here. If you click on my account name, they were uploaded as public, so maybe you can see them that way. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the screenshots. Now I see what happens.

Players can remove only those matching pairs of tiles where each tile has at least one side (left or right) free and no other tiles placed on top.

Blocked tiles (not free ones) cannot be highlighted green or chosen by clicking.

We assumed that people know the basic rules of the mahjong solitaire as it is considered to be a classic game. Our fault!
We'll figure out how to add some basic rules into the game for those who doesn't know about the game at all.
