It depends on what you're looking for. What is important for you in such a game?
Big Ambitions has some nice features regarding private life, like buying apartments and cars. You can spend your free time in a gym or go for a walk in the park. Your character has needs, that needs to be fulfilled.
The business part is just a "part" of the game, opening new stores is quite easy and you can let them run automatically from day 1. Your job is to make sure that your stores don't run out of supplies and everything is working correctly. And while you're driving from store to store, you can cruise in your expensive sports car and park in front of your shop, like a successful businessman (or -woman) :)
Big Ambitions has a nice combination of management and life sim and it's a fun game.
Although it's still in Early Access, I wouldn't say that it's in early stage.
King of Retail (1) clearly focuses on the business part, as there is no private life stuff.
But this part is more detailed than in Big Ambitions. You have a wider range of articles, even though there are just 3 types of businesses (clothes, electronics, food).
But you can have a lot of fun in KoR as well. Even when opening a new store, from day 1 it is only you and then you slowly built up a team, that help you running the store until it runs itself.
It has some nice features regarding personal management and even if you replenish the shelves, there is something satisfying about it. I cannot clearly say what it is, but even after 100s of hours, it's still a lot of fun.
Since you already own KoR, I don't think I need to go into that much detail since you already know the game.
I own both games and I like both of them.
If you're interested in Big Ambitions, then try it out. If you buy it on steam and you don't like it and if you're under 2 hours of playtime, you can refund it.
I was lucky, that I found it during a Steam Next fest, where I could try the Demo and it convinced me right away, so I bought it when it came out in Early Access and I don't regret it.
But in the end, I'm not you and it is you to decide which one you like (or if you like both).
so better u play Big ambitions , game have so much good oportunity for the future
There's a lot of good things in KoR but it's very clearly under-cooked, it was rushed out the door, which would've been fine if the dev kept working on it but as there are still quite a few bugs, some that can even hinder game play, as well as an unobtainable achievement due to a bug, yet no word from the Dev except for KoR 2, not great in my opinion.
On the flip, Big Ambitions has pretty much everything KoR has, only it's a bit more open world and you can work around the city and buy up other stores, as well adding more depth with warehouses, storage, hiring drivers to move goods around. There's also a much larger selection of business. It still has a few bugs and obviously it's not finished- but what it provides is no different than what KoR provides and there's a bonus that it's still being worked on and will even potentially improve.
A bit late of a reply, but maybe this'll help other people who are considering the same thing.
Your life is dedicated to prevent your shop from failing and having to file for bankrupsy. Lol
two different games...
