Hi :-)

Well i can give you some tips, but i won't tell you how to run your store the best way. That is for you to learn and figure out :-) (Or for other community members to tell you :) )

There is no "best" city, that depends on how you wish to run your store, but obviously the higher the population, the more customers may come in pr. day.

- The green bar on an article describes its "quality". High wealth persons pays more attention to this, than the price of the article. In the same way, low wealth persons tends to focus more on the price rather than the quality (They will more likely purchase a shoe priced at 50, instead of one priced at 300)
If they have a high fashion sense they will also pay attention to the blue bar when deciding.

- Customers in general enter based off of your reputation, so the higher it is, the more will enter. You gain reputation when a customer purchases something, and can also gain it by doing marketing by purchasing a computer in the staff room. (This will be improved in the next update)

- After that it is all about managing your money. Don't use them if you don't need to.
Optimize your staff hours (if you even need tham at all), optimize your opening hours, optimize your article flow so you don't have too many in storage, but have enough so that you don't run out.
Use the various statistics to see what works and what don't.

As in the real world, getting through the start is always the hardest part, and when that is accomplished you can focus on going bigger.

I hope some of these tips will make it easier for you.

Happy retailing :steamhappy:

Green is quality. Blue is fashion. What is the third bar for? Price?

Green = quality
Blue = design
Purple = need

( in my experience purple is for the computers)

So what's the purple bar for? How does it effect the choice?

Purple is luxury score. The more luxurious it is, the higher the more the customers needs have to be met before the article will be bought
