Employee Skills - Bar vs Stars

Has anyone figured out what the Green/Yellow progress bar vs. the Red Stars in the employee skill tree are? I can't for the life of me seem to figure it out!

The bars are their actual skill. The stars is how fast they learn in that particular skill :)

How does experience count in? I have a cashier with almost full green bar ability but she is slow like a turtle...

i think your cashier has a perk that makes her slow but gets you a new customer per transaction completed.

Hi, should have been "Talent Level Speed" or something like that to avoid confusion :). But its just my opinion. Maybe just think of it on King of Retail 2 :). The game is awesome by the way, and hope the 2 will have more of everything :).
