How to assign Daily manager

I have gone through some suggestion that i need to promote my worker to manager but after doing that still its not showing that the daily manager is assigned to a particular store.
I want to expand by buying 2nd store. Previously when i did the same i became bankrupt and had to start the game from sratch. Please help Soon

When at the store. Click on one of your staff while at the end of the day office. There select promote to manager, then go through the hiring process. After that, the person should show as manager on the city map.
