I have trouble porting Cube 2: Sauerbraten maps???
I wanted to get more maps into in this game so I followed this guide on how to port maps from Sauerbraten into Red Eclipse https://forum.freegamedev.net/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=1428 after I changed all of the .ogz files into .mpz files I started up Red Eclipse 2 and all of the maps that are from Sauerbraten are in the "Maps that are not in the rotation" section. So I started up one of the maps from Sauerbraten and the map does not show up all I see is a green square platform and no map, and I started up another map from Sauerbraten and it still does not work. I need help please because I like this game and I really want play more maps in this game, does anyone have a solution?

Post like that are misleading and massively out of date at this point. v2.0 can no longer import Sauerbraten maps either. If you'd like to import a Sauerbraten map it is suggested you download v1.6, import a map there, save it, then load the newly saved map in v2.0.

The problem with the importer is that it is a pain to maintain and significantly bloats the world loader and entity parsers, and considering that importing Sauerbraten maps is both a niche topic and not entirely 1:1 I decided it wasn't worth diverting resources away from helping people create better maps specifically for RE.

Thanks for the response, I have another question. I downloaded v1.6 how do I save the maps that I imported and load the into v2.0?

/savemap
They should both be using the same directory for saving and loading maps, so they should appear in v2.0 after being saved.

Try this:
/texturecull
/exec config/map/textures.cfg
Select a single spot and change the texture, then to replace all instances of that texture in the level:
/replace
Rinse, repeat.
