Dont know but there a hero as this (in dota 2) just look at the cover art almost the same as the monkey hero in dota (Armour wise / Clothing) but you play it diffrent and it has a story.

The Monkey King is kind of an iconic character in China, famous from the "Journey To The West" series. It was released like several decades ago and alot of movies and games have taken inspiration from him. Dota 2 did not create monkey king lmao and also believe it or not, Goku is pretty much a rip off of this guy.

How about "Saiyuki: Journey West" from PSOne? It was at least decent.
And you meet Sun Wukong in the games from time to time as side character, and some other characters may appear. I believe Sun Wukong was in Warriors Orochi starting from second too.
