FPS Monitor keeps crashing

The program keeps crashing, I tried uninstalling it, reinstalling, verifying game files, opening from steam, steam folder, normal folder, opening at the start and nothing seems to work.
Now I can't even start the program (I used to but it crashed in 30 seconds or "normal" use (configuration screen)). Please help, apart from this, I wasn't able to find any log on the users documents as the crash screen shows.

I'm using driver 531.41 (970M) and 20.19.15.5171 (HD 4600) and Intel i7 4810MQ.

you can use beta patch work for me now

Hi! Try this solutions (wipe all settings) and enable beta-beta branch in properties - BETAS tab to update 5444 build. If it doesn't help - our support here fpsmon.com

Which one do you use? "beta - beta" or "build-5100 - build-5100", those are the two I can select. Thanks

2 ways available to choose from: "5100: and "beta-beta", select "beta-beta" - this is always latest build, 5100 very old build for 1 our user only

Thanks, I tried beta and reinstalled (freshly) the program and now it works flawlessly, however, I find strange that when there's an update I have to reinstall 2 files (failed to validate) but after I do that everything works fine. I mention this to you because it might be a bug (it doesn't happen to me with any other game) Thanks again for your help.

If you performed a file scan, downloaded these 2 files and right after that again when you check the files it does not find 2 files? Maybe the antivirus is blocking them? Add all program folders to your firewall exceptions.

I have Windows Defender (W10), and that is not the problem. When I fix the 2 files, it works well, but when it updates, I check and very often it says 2 files failed to validate. It might be a Steam problem, because when I fix it it doesn't fail anymore until the program updates.

If this problem occurs only when a new version is released, it is obviously because you are trying to update on a just closed program, when after closing FPS Monitor still some files may be occupied by other processes. It happens with any program and not only in Steam. You just need to disable autorun from Windows if it is enabled, restart your PC to unload all processes and update the program. It's ok, not a problem.

Oh, I didn't know that, thanks for this info, and for the great customer support you gave me with my original problem :)
