Cyberpunk 2077 crashed after trying to change amd fsr settings and sometimes resolution.

hi, i would like to do some benchmark for my computer but when I try switching on the software, cyberpunk setting become unable to touch. sometimes the resolution, sometimes the fsr menu. it just crashes when i change the setting and click apply. I try to scale the software with desktop size and 720p size because if not it become too small. my monitor is 4k and i set cyberpunk to 1440p fullscreen.

This problem is most likely on your side, in the Windows event log there are some errors related to the game or fpsmon.dll? Check the game files for errors or updates, maybe they are corrupt, do a clean installation of the video card driver, update Windows, check for errors.

🔨 How to perform a clean installation of FPS Monitor

1. Back up your scenes and settings if necessary. Click on the «Help» menu - «Show a folder with settings files» or «C:\ProgramData\FPSMonitor».
2. Completely close all FPS Monitor processes and uninstall the program. If you can't remove any files, then restart your computer and try again.
3. Be sure to manually delete the folder «C:\ProgramData\FPSMonitor» with personal settings (not to be confused with «Program Files») and restart the computer!
4. Download and install the latest version.

Please send us the log file FPSMonitor.txt from the «Documents» folder if problems persist.

Run "Command Prompt" or "Windows PowerShell" as an Administrator

Enter the commands one at a time:
1). sfc /scannow
2). dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Reboot your PC after the restore is complete if there are any errors.

I did everything and changing resolution works but changing dlss from auto to quality and quality to auto crash the game. I think this is cyberpunk problem because i tried on other games like dragon age inquisition and tlou and fpsmon works fine.

Its okay cause i think its game problem. My cyberpunk is v1.61 dlss3 version.

Most likely it is a problem with the game or a video card driver, you need to read the patch sheet to the latest drivers and a list of known problems, as well as game forums with a similar problem. I'd be interested to take a look at the Windows log. You need to type "Event Viewer" in the taskbar search and under the "Windows Logs"-"Application" tab, look for errors in red or yellow warnings right after the game crashes. Send screenshots with error codes, if they mention the game to support at fpsmon.com.

its weird that it seems event viewer>windows logs>app tab doesnt have new warning red or yellow..it seems it doesnt detect the app?? theres only information on security ssp on older date and nothing new. there is no mention any game name. The only latest error it detects is from my capcut video editor with a red exclamation mark. I install the game via gog installer.

So something crashes in the driver or the game itself, I have no more ideas and solutions, sorry, we have not encountered this with other users.

thank you still.

it seems projek red fixed it in 1.62 patch. All is working properly now. There is a crash while changing settings sometimes in the game but it is not connected to fpsmon.
