CPU Usage Accuracy
Hi, i love this little app but just recently have been wondering why the max thread / cpu usage reading is cycling up to 100% when i check my hwinfo graphs and individual core usages none of them are even close to being 100% Is this a glitch in FPS monitor?

The sensors in FPS Monitor are absolutely identical moreover they are the same dlls. If you changed something in HWinfo64 relative to the standard default settings, then this is already your problem. In FPS Monitor you can also change the overlay refresh rate. To do this select it and change it in the Item Properties window. The default for a new overlay is 2, for Sysinfo overlays with text set 4, this is a more or less acceptable value and is used in finished scenes. For simple overlays like "Caption" and "Image fill" where nothing changes you can set the opposite minimum - 1. And for overlays a graph with sensors like FPS, Frame Time or CPU or video card load - 20-60 maximum.

Reset HWinfo64 settings to default. If I'm not mistaken the polling rate will be 2000. And the FPS Monitor depending on the type of overlay and sensor, as I wrote above. If it's just text overlay Sysinfo, then 4, if the graph is 20 or slightly higher, depending on how you visually like to see the peaks.

Okay, so just changed the polling rate from 4000ms to 500ms in hwinfo and the 100% peaks in cpu usage in FPS monitor did not happen, interesting.
