Wrong indication of VRAM usage
Hi,

I have a problem with VRAM usage indication with my Radeon RX 5700 XT.
It always adds about 2GB to real usage.
e.g. in Windows idle I get 3GB of usage while in windows resource manager the usage is about 800MB which is correct.

It is happening with the normal version and the beta build 5270.
Is there any solution to this? I tried with the option in sysinfo settings "Get some AMD GPU sensors from GPU driver..." but that is not helping in this case.

I did found the problem. The problem was my unawareness about "GPU Memory usage" and "GPU D3D Memory Dedicated" being different things. Now everything is ok.
Thanks :) and sorry for your trouble

I have not seen such situations since the release of these video cards, even then everything was fixed and everything works fine for everyone. As you have noticed, there is such an option in the program settings, and if something does not help in normal mode. Run HWInfo64 and look at the values there and after that send a screenshot and a log file from the Documents folder to our support at fpsmon.com.

I have a similar problem. The value of the GPU grows each time the computer is turned on. It looks like the program is not resetting to its initial value. Graphics Card RX 580 8gb.

If I understand correctly, you have already solved this issue in support on the site. It is the same as for the user of this topic - manually add an alternative sensor GPU D3D...
