FPS Monitor

FPS Monitor

Conflict with HWinfo
If HWinfo is running, none of the sensors show and a message 'Initialising hardware' is shown.
If i quit HWinfo, the sensors show.
Is there a workaround, please?

📌 For Windows 10 - Conflict between different programs using the HWInfo library, What to do ?:

1. Close all (HWinfo, FPS Monitor, software from Thermaltake).
2. Open the config C:\ProgramData\FpsMonitor\hwinfo-config.txt and find there HWINFO_CFG_PERSISTENT_DRIVER - change the value from 0 to 1, save, run FpsMonitor. Close after a successful launch.
3. Start HWinfo, find a similar option in the settings (persistent driver) and enable it, run further. From now on, HWinfo will use the driver from FPS Monitor and not remove it after closing itself.
4. Everything, now you can run everything as you wish.
5. Thermaltake better not to run.

Q: I still have something not working!
No matter how trite - try to restart the PC and reinstall the program by removing everything from C:\ProgramData\FPSMonitor. Also check if you have running the HWInfo utility, MSI Afterburner or other monitoring. Sometimes they may conflict. Always try to use the latest version of FPS Monitor, most of the problems about which they write to us are simply solved by installing the latest version.

Thank you very much.
FPS Monitor now runs correctly with HWinfo in my system tray as well.
This is a very good tip.
