Oh and don't forget the paste and random emojis: Happy gaming
I have never seen that and especially not with indie devs. I know that there are some games around who took several years to be developed. Duke Nukem Forever is a good example of this. Was announced after Duke Nukem 3D and it took no less then 15 years before it finally saw the light and it wasn't good. Daikatana is another infamous example and the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R game, Shadow of Chernobyl, also took a bit too long regarding development.
And it also happened that games were just cancelled and aborted, like the Van Buren project (which was to be fallout 3, but interplay never finished it. they just threw it in the garbagebin)
But it never happens that once a game got abandoned that it is revived.
Ever read the thread or announcements? You can plus what you want, but game is done.
