Flower
Performance?
You'd think an old game with graphical upgrades, frames wouldn't dip on a 1080ti. Also, can't find Flower in the Nvidia Control Panel. Any suggestions?

I got an 1080 Ti and I get 72 to around 80 FPS in 4k resolution.

Not running 4k. 1920x1080 at 144hz, everything at Ultra.

Updated your drivers?

You don't need MSAA at 4K. If you turn it off you'll easily be pulling above 100FPS at all times. This game is not demanding at all.

Yes of course.

Immediately noticed something. Seems to be that setting the Ultra settings down to High uncaps the framerate to 144, while having the three options to Ultra make it so it dips to around 100fps. Weird.

Grass density at ultra just tanks performance, even when running at 720p my 1080ti is under 100fps, when that setting is at ultra. Also it seem to use an unusual rendering method for the grass, because gpu utilization is close to 100%, yet it barely gets any warmer.

Also MSAA seems bugged to me, setting it to 8x makes the image blurrier, but you can still make out some jaggies under the blur. Increasing the resolution with Nvidia DSR, instead of using MSAA makes the image a lot cleaner.

I have some very serious performance issues too. In my case, even if I put everything on low, and disable MSAA (@ 2560x1080 or @1920x1080), I still get around 50fps.

I realize my CPU is old (i3-4170), but I guess it really shouldn't be that bad. It has decent core performance.
GPU is a GTX 1060. Everything updated, of course.
Also, MSAA doesn't seem to affect performance at all, so I'm guessing it really is CPU bound, or there's some bug going on. Grass density is the worst offender. If I put everything on Ultra it becomes almost a slideshow.

Yeah then there is definitely a patch needed. It is an old PS3 port for 2009, so there is bound to be day 1 issues.

Yeah runs perfect with i7, 32GB, and 1080 Ti but will probably run equally well on any PC from the last five years. It's not a demanding game, though have to admit it looks obviously better than it did on PS3 and even PS4. Running it in 2160p with everything ultra, no idea what the framerate is but it's up there

Similiar setup here. I7 32gb 1080ti. Check a framerate monitor though and see if you are capped at your refresh rate cause you should be. Game is not that graphically intense. Though something seems to be wrong with Ultra settings bringing FPS way down.

ok good to know.

It's not based on the PS3 version but on the PS4 port, which is x86.

Good advice. For me, looks great. Then again i'm getting old and high frame rates make me dizzy :eyeglass:

New patch, and performance is still horrible for me. Looking at the task manager, GPU usage is pretty much maxed out (GTX 1060), even with MSAA disabled and stuff on Medium. Grass options are the only ones that seem to make a difference, I can only get 60fps with Low grass settings.
