Crash during Credits, denying "Stars" achievement
I read in the discussions that there used to be a crash close to the end of the credits part of the game but that was supposedly fixed by a patch.

Well, I'm getting it now.

At first the game used to crash for me just before you reach EXTRA CREDITS. Then I changed all my graphics settings to lowest, which makes it possible to progress a bit further, actually getting into the extra credits, but it still does not reach the end of the credits: I see the extra credits start scrolling to the top of the screen and seconds later the game crashes again.

Is there a solution?

My initial settings were Medium, with the two numerical ones at 4.
Now it is on Low, with the two numerical ones at 1 (making it possible to progress a little further into the credits).

Anyone?

The game still crashes during the credits. Every time. Apparently the patch does not work (for everyone).
I have a powerful machine and graphics card. I don't see it being the reason.

My specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte H370 HD3 all-in-one LGA 1151
CPU: Intel Coffeelake LGA 1151 i7-9700F
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, 6GB GDDR6, Windforce OC 6G, Ray Tracing
RAM: 8GB x 2
OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 650 (650 Watt)
Monitor: 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, ASUS MG248 Gaming Monitor, 24" (61 cm) wide screen, Full HD 1080, 144Hz refresh rate

Crashed multiple times for me at that same spot as well, so I had to get creative. I switched from my main monitor (16:9 @ 144hz) to my secondary one (21:9 @ 60hz), and made it the primary monitor in the Windows settings. I opened the game in Big Picture mode, dropped all the game settings to the lowest values for everything, then bam, finished the level and got the trophy.

Not sure which change actually helped, but something worked.

If you don't have a second monitor, try lowering the settings and capping the refresh rate, then run in BP mode. Good luck.

@romaASR53
Thank you for the reply. I will look into this. Only recently got my new PC and monitor (16:9 @144hz). The old monitor is 16:9 @ 60hz, but not compatible with the new box unless I get some sort of adaptor, I guess. I never got to finish Flower on my old PC though. (It got damaged in an accident before I could get that far, so re-installed it on my new PC.)
I'll see what can be done.

Thanks Roma.

I was encountering the crash during the credits problem as well - but only when I was eligible for the achievement.
After several failed attempts with lowered graphics settings, I finally triggered the full credits and achievement with my graphics set to 1440p with high settings, but I capped my fps from 144 down to 60 using Nvidia control panel.

even without a crash on my end, the achievement failed to pop twice in a row. Only the 3rd time did it pop. And no, I'm 100% sure i activated all the flowers all 3 times.
The third time I ended up using my mouse to ensure i could get all the flowers in order of appearance...
And also not roaming around. Gotta love how some input may stick after the credits as well...

I still don't have the achievement. I tried all the setting suggestions above, which did help to a degree. But I was only able to get through to the end of the credits ONCE and it didn't unlock the achievement. And, yes (as the previous poster) I'm 100% sure I got all flowers and sent all names up to the stars. Even with the suggested settings done in the game itself, the Nvidia panel as well as the display settings of my PC and monitor, I still get the crashing. Just gonna leave it at that.

Just chiming in that I also experienced this issue. The first time it went fine but the achievement didn't pop. Every time since then has crashed. I tried reinstalling, playing windowed with lowest settings, highest settings fullscreen. Nothing. What finally worked for me is limiting my fps to 60 in nvidia control panel. Thanks, Red Shift for the suggestion.

Had the same issue with game crashing at the end of the credits level as the Extra Credits began to roll, using 144hz and 2560x1440 monitor.
I made my second monitor, with 60hz and 1920x1080, my main monitor and completed the credits level using that. I also changed all in game graphics settings to "Low".

I was able to get the achievement by doing this.

I tried many different things, and I've found for me the easiest solution was to simply turn on vsync. I can play the level without crash at the end using all max graphic settings, fullscreen, on my 1440p 144 Hz monitor, so long as vsync is enabled.

It also worked to put everything minimum and then play windowed on my 1080p 75 Hz monitor (without vsync), but that made the game window so tiny that I probably missed some flowers that I couldn't see, as I didn't get the achievement on that run.

I can't fix this. Game crashes no matter what I do. Vsync doesn't help.

i dont have this problem, could you try reducing your refresh rate to 60, playing windowed, not using custom controller binds (no big picture), effects set to ultra and msaa set to 1 and ansio set to 1 with low grass

stars requires all flowers in the level bloomed/captured

Thanks everyone! Had the same issue as others with the extra credits crash and as mentioned here, capping the framerate to 60 in the NVIDIA control panel worked for me as well.
Then I guess in the end it's a framerate issue, which for some is fixed with enabling vsync yet for others requires computer-wide setting changes to fps.
