I needed some time to figure it out. The game itself does not offer you this feature right away. The trick is to replace the left analog action with the gyro to get the motion control.
Follow these steps:
1. go into the general controller settings in Steam and activate Playstation controller support
2. start the game
3. open Steam overlay and click on controller setup or enter big picture mode
4. now click on "search for controller profiles"
5. there is a community setup for PS4 controller gyro control
6. import it and you will get a preview of the settings, confirm the activation
7. enjoy playing
Unfortunetaly yes. Without the workaround you steer the flower pedals with the left analog stick by default (which is not bad though)
My solution is the only option to use the full motion control with a PS3/4 controller by just tilting the controller to the direction. As it was intendend to be played on the PS3/4. I just don't undestand why the devs didn't implemented it in the PC port right away.
