How can my friends choose their faction?

Hi there, I just convinced some friends to pick this game up with me during the recent sale. We played one game as random factions, which was great! However, when I set up the room, I didn't see an option to let them pick their faction. I saw that I could pick my faction, but the other spots still seemed set to random. Am I missing something? How can I let everyone choose their team?

Players joining a lobby will be able to pick a faction on their end. You cannot pick a faction for them.

It is not very intuitive (I still make this mistake). When you/they first enter the game room, each individual has to manually click the faction button/slider to move off Random and onto their faction of choice.

Everyone has their default set to Random. When your friends first enter your room (and after they have left the lobby chat), they have to select from the remaining factions available before they click the Join button.

If playing with a password-protected lobby, I believe the "pick your faction" step is before they enter the password.
