When using the advanced setup rules, is there any way to disable the vagabond, at LEAST the double vagabond?

I really hope there's a way, and that I'm just missing it. When we play in person, we don't use the vagabond, and it's so much more fun. I want to use the advanced setup rules, due to the balance changes for the cats and the lizards, but would like to exclude factions, like we can do in the non-advanced setup.

Is this possible?
