How many maximum player?

I played a game long time ago. Even if it has 5+ faction. Game allows maximum 4 players.
I'm not sure how many maximum players now.

The digital game only supports 4 players maximum. The physical board game could technically allow a max of 10 players (or 11 with two vagabonds), but the ideal max is 4 - 6 players depending on the table group.

12-13 actually, with marauders. would be an absolutely nightmare though, each player would probably have to wait half an hour just to take their next turn. not to mention that's 1 clearing per player, even if you use the fan-made big map with 16 clearings the map would be too small

The board game is for 1-6 players. Even 5-6 players can be a mess, doing more is sheer insanity.
