After new update, Root crashes on launch.

After the new update, Root crashes on launch. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Root, and also did the same with the Steam app, issue still exists.

I am running on an older Mac, with OS 10.13.6 - maximum for this machine. Is it possible that the minimum requirements for Root have changed?

Wouldn't have thought the game's specs are too intensive for most computers, the new expansions wouldn't have changed them. Perhaps email Direwolf Digital?

I have already sent an email, and also a requested player log file into the support team. Issue still persists for now, so I hope to hear of some news soon. Thanks!
