Everybody needs to own a copy?
Maybe I just missed it, but if playing multiplayer online ... does everyone need their own copy? This would be huge deal breaker.

You can do pass and play on a single device. But yes if you want to play the game on a device you need to purchase the game on that device.

Hence why a $60 game costs $15 per person.

Don't be so obtuse in your thinking. It's not ME that has the problem with the price. I have all the Root physical stuff, and I'll have all the Root digital stuff.

However, convincing non-Root fans to drop $15 on a single digital board game is tough. I know because I'm currently trying to do it.

What would be a better model, is a higher price, but I have to be the host of the game. Like Tabletopia.

What kind of retarded reply is this? I have paid close to $300 for all of the physical stuff for this game, I'm hardly cheap ... next time answer the question instead of trying to sound cute.

Don't buy it even once if you want to play online. It doesn't work. At all.

Hi Elsquonk!

Sorry to hear you are running into issues with online play. We have reached out for some additional information and will hopefully have you playing online with friends very soon!

Yah, I'm in the same boat as what a couple people have said here. I own the physical Root game and expansions and have no problem spending the money myself, but I want to be able to play with a bunch of buddies who are all super cheap. So the question is not whether I'll spend $17, but whether I'm willing to spend $70 + bucks... lol
