How to join multiplayer?

Please start with our connectivity guide[www.ubisoft.com]. In particular, from that article, please remember to reset your network hardware, switch to a wired connection (if possible, and if you aren't already), and check for software conflicts that might be causing interference (such as firewalls).

If the issue persists, can you answer the questions below for me?

• Have you ever been able to join multiplayer in the past, or is this the first time you've tried?
• Are you able to join other players besides your friend? Is your friend able to join other players besides you?

i have the same problem, i have done everthing that stands here, and yes i have played online p2p for almost a decade..
it suddenly stoppet working. and if you try to puch the friends button i upper left corner, nothing happens

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble laying with others.

You mentioned you had tried the above troubleshooting which didn't help, can I check when this first started happening?

Do you encounter this when using a different network such as from a hotspot? Knowing this will help us identify the cause

i have all of the above errors just the same when trying to play with a friend.
i have tried all of the guides and forums for the settlers 7 history edition and nothing seems to work. these posts are old and problems have still not been resolved. I even gifted a friend of mine this game to see if multiplayer was a local problem only for me but no. Contacs button does not trigger any response from the game and also when in a multiplayer lobby you get zero response from the invite button. it is like you dont want people to enjoy this great game. next time dont answer the questions with more questions. Multiplayer issues with this game is not unknown. I have also tried to get in contact with ubisoft support, however when in ubisoft.com when you press support you only get 404 Error this page does not exist. I get so angry, i can hardly contain my spelling. only contact page working in ubisoft.com is Career application. i was this close to writing an entire speech of how bad things are managed on the application. its like how else can i get help? not only did i purchase the game twice but i cant even play the game at all. Fix your game. kindly -Pach2

This games multiplayer doesn't work. Ubisoft is clear milking whatever is left, appearantly with lying and cheating. Thrupney and WheelyDuck are just lying to get sales. This is why ubisoft is going down and honestly they deserve it. I understand Pach2's reaction.
