Does this one still have the texture bug that forces the game to be out the lowest texture for modern video cards?

Nope.

Each History Edition is fixed in one way the old games weren't.

This one no longer has the texture bug, and gets better resolution options.

Heritage of Kings gets the two expansion packs.

And 7 is no longer Online Required.

They should still all be sold with a fairly large discount if you already own them Ubi....

I'm still getting problems with texture. game is automatically put at the lowest settings and whenever I try to change it, it resets and the screen gets all dark. when I decide to play it with the preset low settings all the textures on the map are flickering.

I got the same problem with texture and the game is unplayable
I just requested for a full refund and I needed to do a win 10 system restore to make my screen brighter again.
Ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves to release a game like this that still has bugs like that.
Do not buy this game at all.

But disappointing that they didn't fix it for everyone then.

yeah it was impossible for me to fix everything. but to make the screen brighter I just hit "default" in the settings and that seemed to fix that. However I too requested a full refund. can anyone confirm if the gold edition on GOG does not have this issue?

It looks like this is the only version they have on steam for all 3. Steam no longer has the gold editions for any of these games just the history editions. Looks like gamersgate is the only place where you can buy the gold edition of this game.
I was looking on the forum at the history edition and there is nothing about anyone having texture problems. There are normal video issues but nothing about texture issues. This bug must only affect certain people's PC.
