Is there Multiplayer without being in the same LAN now possible in this version?

yes, but it is very buggy. Actually they didn't fix many issues which was in the gold edition already. Additionally they added another bug which might lead to a desync later in the game (after 60 minutes somewhen) and everybody gets "waiting for network" and nobody can do anything. Like an endless loop.

There is a website from a community I am supporter at where some people (mostly german, so better find some friends to play together in your language) play reguarly togehter.

If you need help on anything I can also help you doing it via discord.

So you got 3 Ways:
- The old way via LAN
- The new way via Ubi-Network where it hangs up at some point randomly
- The best way via a custom client.

Ah okay thank you very much for that detailed explanation. Does enabling the custom client take a lot effort to set up?

We got some feedback that the wiki is a bit helpfull but does't explain everything in detail.
It is indeed a bit of work, because of severall stuff.
