Where the expansions at?

Hello guys, I had the gold edition years and years ago, and I remember I could play the sharpshooters campaign just by launching the main game; you could then choose which version of the game to play by clicking the corresponding button in the main menu.
Since I read the history edition has both dlcs included, but I don't see any expansion button in the main menu, how can I play them?

You go into your liberay and select the game Settlers heritage of kings. Then there is a big green PLAY-button. Click that one and you will get a selection of what you wanna start up

i mentioned in this thread before that it would be great if the original game was available to buy too, updated for the current windows.

lo and behold, i looked on ubisoft connect and got the whole 1-7 settlers history collection for just over a tenner. that's almost how much i payed for just this one on steam.

only tried 1-4 so far and all working brilliant on windows 11 in case anyone else is feeling nostalgic for amiga days gone past :D
steam only has heritage of kings plus last i looked

loving playing no.1 all over again without the need for that dictionary sized booklet it originally came with

Maybe you've set a default option in the past for the base game so it doesn't ask you again.
Go into your steam settings of the game and set the startparameters to that one which ask you everytime and try again
