How can I unlock the highest settings?

Same Question from me.
A 2080TI is not supposed to have turned off shadows and low settings on a game like this... or any game for that matter.

Also need some form of v-sync. 2000 fps just make the GPU scream.

You can unlock it on different ways.

-get a dll which returns a version which is not between 4000 and 5000 (in the minor version)
the game checks for these numbers. the moment it is between, it deactivates.
there are some files on community discords

-get an actual fixed version (.exe-file) from somwhere where I don't know

-get an older/newer driver where the number is not between 4k and 5k (maybe you are lucky with the newest one, I'm gonna update soon).

for the FPS: in nvidia, you go to the nvidia settings. there you can set diferent FPS for different applications including settlers.

I set it 125 there.

just put the dll into your Settlers-Heritageof kings BIN Folder.
<path>\Settlers Heritage of Kings\bin\<here> (the place where the exe.files are stored
and limit your FPS. you graficcard will be very thankfull for it
