Can't change settings
I'm on Windows10 64.
How do I change resolution and details? None works after restarting the game.

yes, I unchecked all the game files properties from read only, and somehow it worked :)

but where do you find the files to uncheck ? because i don't see the files from read

It's where you got it installed - your steam games folder, find the settlers folder and change the entire thing's properties, it was checked read only by default.

doesn't work for me, tried unchecking box and loading game, but still get fatal error

Problem is the new Nvidia driver. Go back to the one before and it works. Just did it.
