dont go to them the moment u wake up. maybe after 10am they'll start moving.
best to just leave them outside(except raining but even if it's raining i leave them outside and they don't get sick) and let them walk around so you're not cooped in a tight space
Also someone said you can upgrade your coop to get a bell item. The item calls all chickens out of the coop, so if it annoys you that much do that.
i'm not sure it trigger by that or other
but i always do like save before sleep > wake up - get out of house - chicken not move > warp to check weather board > reload auto save (that save at 6.00am) > leave the house and chicken move
at low hearts they only help once a day, and their heart meter drops every time you ask them for help... so unless you have a TON of junk item to gift them with, aim for the upgraded coop so you can buy the chicken bell (same goes for barn)
they’ll “auto graze” outside every morning don’t worry.
it does suck because there’s a max distance it can work with. so if your animals aren’t grouped together in a tight radius the bell will only call those closest to you
yeah. a trick i've posted on another thread is to round them up in one place before herding into or out of the coop/barn, make sure to do it quite the distance away from the door or they'll get stuck.
oh and walk slower when herding but not too slow or they'll stop
