The game overall looks like it will be a pretty cool game though. Asset flips are more an issue when the game developer didn't really produce a game that stood out in any way, or was a cash grab which Walking Zombie 2 doesn't look to be.

Yes, I actually liked 1st game even though it had that idiotic sniper mission that blocked my progress. For an asset flip on unity both games work surprisingly well and have quite a lot of content. Way better then unturned.

Well, using asset that exist to make dev's work easier as a basis for a game is not asset flip. This is BIG game (at least for small indie team) with so much work in it - and it is obvious on a first glance that this is packed with content and so much work.

What changed name? From what? What is the name of original game? I'd gladly play it. I have never seen yet this sort of blocked graphics done right. Unturned was horrible. This at least has sensible progression system and runs well for a unity shooter. Compared to most unity based shooters as a genre its way faster and better. Contest is huge. I am like 50 levels, 25k zombies killed and 30 hours in. Also big upgrade from previous game which was over 2 $ - this one is free.

There is no game that could be copied to create something like this. This is a new, proper game from scratch. Only parts of the graphics are bought from the asset store.

At least there not free assets as you said the dev bought, also this game seems well put together so far from what i played, im really enjoying it, keep up the good work devs!, don't let steam forums put you off! Edit also its a free game to play so stop ya bcting!

It's free, but also pay to win as shat.

Vast majority of players don't pay anything and they can still play the whole game. And it is not competitive at all, so I wouldn't call it pay to win.

I like the game, but, "winning" does not mean only against players lol. Otherwise, how can you ever win solitaire? :)
