Damage: I got the 10% increase with aims because I used my base damage with Kar98 3000 and added a randomized percentage starting from 10% in the calculator, getting the damage I dealt exactly right at first try. Seeing as this could be the same mechanics with others, I decided to add it along with the overall.
For the advanced ammo, add them to your base damage first before you make a shot so that you wouldn't have to repeat calculating them after you deal a critical or headshot
Critical: Do not put together headshots with criticals, always calculate them separately
178 multiply to 3 and then multiply it again to 2.25x (178 x 3 = 534 x 2.25 = 1,201.5)
Driving, Trading, and Radiation Resistance: The resulting number would be the reduction to the total amount
With the radiation resistance having 345% max resistance, spending skill points would be no longer necessary unless the player desires it so. Using with just RadX Extra is enough to negate more than 1/3 of the damage dealt per second by radiation.
And yes, my calculations with radiation resistance skill is messed up, I'm still working on it along with the defense skill regarding armor points converting them to percentage
Trading: Say 1 Brute Tablet costs 800, a lvl 100 Trading skill is equivalent to .25, lvl 150 is .375, and lvl 200 is .50
800 x .25 = 200
800 - 200 = 600
800 x .375 = 300
800 - 300 = 500
800 x .50 = 400
800 - 400 = 400
Basically, reaching lvl 200 on Trading skill cuts all prices to half while lvl 100 only cuts it to 1/4
(Credits to Nosteru for references, it's easy how to calculate them but there's no point in it if I don't have anything to refer to)
(I'll add more elaborations here should you guys find it somewhat confusing or not explained enough from up there)
At your point 4.
Kevlar Set give you a 10% damage reduction by bonus. I didnt do math but very seems like that. With my 100 Defense skill and Skull Set (40 Armor) I have around 46% damage reduction but in Kevlar set (50 Armor) what not much higher in Armor, increase to around 65% damage reduction.
point 9.
Hazmat Set give you 25% Radiation Resistant. I also think the two RadX cant stack.
Brain Tablet give temporary 20 Trading Skill and 20 Speech Skill (not %) iirc.
There is also the daily Wheel 1 hour 10% (Reload, Damage, Run) bonus. However they dont stack with the 3min pills and drink bonuses, those overwrite them for that 3min duration.
About Trading: I have 151 Trading skill and a 800 silver normal cost Brute tablet have reduced cost 498 silver.
Kevlar bonus are raw 10%, they stack straight to your player stats and are not converted unlike armor points (which should leave you with 55% damage reduction with just the 100 Defense skill and 50 armor points)
It's harder to convert these armor points into percentages, because I couldn't put any margin for them to fit right in
Your armor stats and points give a lot of help though, I'm working on it right now
Checking different Armor amount it seems the system use some kind of diminishing return.
Full Skull Set: 40 Armor
My Defense skill is 100
At my inventory screen it show I have 80 Armor (set+skill combined)
My damage reduction is 46,8%
Full Kevlar Set: 50 Armor (+10% Defense bonus)
It show I have 100 Armor (set+skill combined)
Damage reduction 62,4%
Only Skull Vest: 16 Armor
with my Defense skill : 32 Armor
Damage reduction: 26%
Only Skull Hat: 8 Armor
with skill: 16 Armor
Damage reduction: 15%
Only Kevlar Vest: 20 Armor (+4% Defense bonus)
with defense skill: 40 Armor
Damage reduction: 34,6%
Only Kevlar Hat: 10 Armor (+2% Defense bonus)
with skill: 20 Armor
Damage reduction: 20%
If yes, then it does. It works on all kinds of guns, even those without sights, aiming before firing adds 10% dmg increase
I'm not entirely confident with the 10% though, because I didn't use a supercomputer to clarify whether I was right or not
Well, we learn untill our death.
This full set Armor value is 80
With 100 Defense Skill this increase to 160 Defense
You will get 63,8% damage reduction with it.
Note: With same 100 Defense Skill the Kevlar set you get 62,4% what is barely weaker.
About your Defense description on guide. Im sure it not work like that.
Defense skill if maxed that mean it increase the Armor value to 3x, eg: 50 Armor will be 150 Defense value shown on your inventory screen under armor set, but we dont know yet how armor convert to damage reduction %. While the Kevlar set provide a fix +10% damage reduction and Durable perk give +5% (this not tested).
Thanks for the info
I'll have a look back again at my guide to recheck defense skill with the notes you gave to match them
Edit: 10:54 08/08/2020
I took a look at it, and in my experience with games that involve going beyond 100% stats using upgrades and skill points. I think 200% does multiply armor value 3x similar to how 200% is equal to 3x critical effieciency. But since I can't really figure out how damage reduction is totaled, I don't know how an additional 15% from Durable Perk and Kevlar Set affects the total damage reduction.
In my experience armor increase in most games have diminishing returns. I try to describe it how this work. This will just an example: Normaly you think if 100 Armor give 20% damage reduction then 200 Armor should give 40%, while the truth is it will be lower. And this will be further reduced, like if u already have 1000 Armor with (just an example) 70% damage reduction then another +1000 Armor will only increase it to 75%. So every more armor will give less and less % damage reduction. The reason for this that you will never can reach 100% damage reduction or above. However your survivability will increase alot even with this system. It easiely can be understand by the follow: if you have 98% damage reduction then enemy will do his damage 2% on you while if you have 99% damage reduction then enemy do only 1% of his damage, what is half of the 2% so basicaly with only 1% difference you will can survive twice as long/much.
Here come the trick with Kevlar Set bonus and Durable perk, becuse no matter how much % of damage reduction you have it will add 10%+5% damage reduction to that.
But if that's how it is, it'll take me longer to figure it out, I'mma need to eat 10 brain tablets for this
