Game use premade Assets
I know using assets is not a crime and a common thing nowdays in indie games. Also it dosent change the fact that Walking Zombie 2 is a fun FPS RPG game.
However it is a little disappointment for me and abit shade things that this game use full assets. I was naive and thought this game is unique with these polygon characters made by Alda Games, but it is not.

I just found this site:
https://syntystore.com/
Basicaly everythings is from this site: weapons, cars, building, vegetations, zombies, characters.

I have no problem with this at all -- if Alda Games really don't have a very talented 3D modeler/animator, it's quite natural they turn to these model making sites for resources they need to make their game -- provided they did paid for these models (if they are not free of charge). Just as long as they are not trying to sell their games that using Unreal Engine Tutorial Models like some shameless Chinese guys out there (yeah you can find this "games" (which is just basically slightly modified UE tutorials) in Steam as well, just search around.

It is a current trend for current generation of low budget game making, all we have to do is accept it -- they have a good game concept, but they don't have a good modeler (and never had a good "AI" programmer...*grin*), so are they gonna sit there and wait for little Timmy next door to grow up and became a talented 3D modeler, 3D animator and expert AI programmer to start making their game? No, they just buy the assets and proceed with zero AI and made a goofy fun (the fun factor is decreasing with every update, mind you, I wonder if Oscar the Grouch has taken over the company and is busy at work there to make the game UNFUN?) little game we all enjoyed (so far).

Hi guys,

It is not exactly about talented 3D artists - we have those, but not an army. We can only make so much content. Models are one of the few areas that can be bought but even when you buy models it takes a lot of work to make it work in the game that feels like a one solid game not just random mix of bought assets. Also there is a ton of our own art in the game, characters, animations, destructible zombies, levels, effects,... Synty assets are really helpful for all stages of development and it would be difficult to create such a big game without it but it is only a little fraction of work that is put into the game.

I said it is not a crime and it is a trend nowdays. It is as common as using good game engines like Unity. I also still love this game and I so want to play more, but there is no content left for me to enjoy.
I just realy thought all this is your own models, style. This was similar when I figured out as little child there is no Santa Claus. :P
I realy cant mad about this, I just dropped my jaw when I saw almost all models on that site. I have not much clue about game making.

I really have no problem with it.

I'm sure they pay for stuff and still put the work in on creating the game at the very least which is more than fine by me.

Did you bother reading the discussion on the 26th by the same user? How will you address our complaints?
