Game has the "Multiple Endings" and "Branching Plot" tags on VNDB[vndb.org], so choices do matter.

It's essentially linear. The game offers literally one choice, which determines whether you do Shirone or Yuuri's route first. You're then forced to do the other ones route, before unlocking the choice to do Sera's route.

So basically like Steins:Gate.

No, totally not like Steins;Gate, lol.

If you played Steins; Gate properly you could get all but one route on a single playthrough, or you could go straight to the true ending by accident. The closest the similarities run is that there's multiple endings.

Steins:Gate only had 2 real options which were presented in your face which either was, Alt-rout. End or continue on.

Not really. To get the true ending you needed quite a few choices. Why do you think the game has 10 pages worth of a flowchart?

Well in the flow chart, most of it is for achievements. Only one path follows the texts needed to get the true ending path.

idk, I didn't even get a choice yet and it locked me into shirone's route first. I wanted to do Yuuri's first but ah well.

The choice comes later.
