Both versions access the same servers so in case of an issue both versions are affected, regardless of the platform.
The most common message I get is "Server cannot be reached", leaving as the only option to exit the game.
The issue is not whether the server is up, but indeed that the connection seems to get lost regularly. I have no clue why, as I'm not experiencing any connectivity issues outside S & F.
I am getting mission errors now though, where a completed mission will not show as such until you click around a bit. As in you complete a mission and the tavern shows no quest giver as if you're still on the mission even though you just completed the fight.
So that would not really be a development issue, but rather a management issue. Or, S & F Remastered simply needs bigger servers. (Well, either that, or they can simply wait till traffic goes down again because users get fed up with the 'server errors' occurring on weekends.)
