Shakes and Fidget Remastered

Server unavailable/error (updated)
The remastered version seems to have an increased occurrence of server errors as compared to the original version. This issue did occur with the old version, but not as frequently.

The issue occurss when in-game (and having a character trying to execute a mission) specifically, bot when trying to log in. The issue occurs with all my characters (which I had transferred from the old game, not sure if that's relevant).

I just hope developers can do something about this. (Besides telling me to reload the game when it occurs, as even I can figure that one out.)

Which server do you have problems with?

Both versions access the same servers so in case of an issue both versions are affected, regardless of the platform.

I'm on world V1631, if that helps.
It is only the version but not the server. Servers are s1.sfgame.us, w30.sfgame.net etc.

w8.sfgame.net.

The most common message I get is "Server cannot be reached", leaving as the only option to exit the game.

The server is up. Sounds like it is your Internet connection. Do you use wifi? Switch to data connection and check your router settings.

I know the server is up and I'm not using Wifi. The message "Server cannot be reached" also seems to generate randomly, i.e. while not having any effect and the server is on. It's as mysterious as it is annoying.

The issue is not whether the server is up, but indeed that the connection seems to get lost regularly. I have no clue why, as I'm not experiencing any connectivity issues outside S & F.

Oops, forgot a few servers: w6, w9 and w23sfgame.net

Now, it could be my imagination, but my impression is that with the latest patch server errors sre down significantly.

I am getting mission errors now though, where a completed mission will not show as such until you click around a bit. As in you complete a mission and the tavern shows no quest giver as if you're still on the mission even though you just completed the fight.

While the server errors seem indeed less frequent now, the message has also been updated to specify "Request Timeout". (No clue what that means exactly, but it sounds similar to something which frequently occurs when trying to login to GTA 5 Online.)

I may have detected where the problem lies. On weekends, S & F traffic goes up and the servers can't quite handle the increased traffic from S & F Remastered. Resulting in 'server errors'.

So that would not really be a development issue, but rather a management issue. Or, S & F Remastered simply needs bigger servers. (Well, either that, or they can simply wait till traffic goes down again because users get fed up with the 'server errors' occurring on weekends.)

Servers are sometimes busy when just launched but normally, they work well. Server errors may be due to router settings or a wifi connection.

Yes, it could just be me. Or not.

Oh look,It's weekend... and server errors are up. (But I'm sure that's just because my wifi/router is acting up magically during weekends... It certainly wouldn't be because of increased server traffic.)
Sorry to hear. Which servers?

Sorry, what?
