There are many quotes that still confuse me:
-The yellow hair girl with a dog apparently has a much bigger role, which means I feel like the game still isn't quite done
-The secret scene all but explains what probably occured, but the grim reaper in it wants a part of her....I still don't have enough clues to help me figure this out
I think the yellow-haired girl simply represents what Suki really wants - where she wanted her life to lead before being murdered. If you look on the store page, one of the screenshots is of her pushing the yellow-haired girl on a swing hanging from the tree in the backyard. This scene is not in the game, so I think it is very poignant that it's on the store page. Here we see that horrible tree where she needs to sacrifice the boy in order to fulfill her agreement. But it's how Suki would like to see it instead, with a lovely swing, playing with her beautiful friend.
One of the biggest themes of the story is Suki's loneliness. Her mother leaves her at home alone all day every day, and she is not allowed to leave (although she mentions in her diary that she WAS leaving the house, hence how she first saw the yellow-haired girl and met the red-haired man). But then she can't find the girl again, and her mother forces her to stay indoors, but it's already too late as the man knows where she lives.
So I think she's not trying to exact revenge on the little boy, but trying to make a friend...as messed up as that is. She is dead, so she wants him to be dead with her. She even says, before telling him to hang himself, something like "before beginning, promise you will become one of us, so we can play". She is just as lonely in death as she was in life, and all she wants is to play with the yellow-haired girl and her chihuahua, but the demon will not allow it. So she desperately wants the boy to die, and go through the same grim reaper experience she did, to come back and play with her forever in this time-loop.
tbh the whole game is really just how you interpret it.
