Are Itch people able to get steam keys?

I bought the game around when it came out and only just now got to it (gotta say, this game is painfully ♥♥♥♥ing scary), and realized I had to download an entirely different package of the game to play the latest version.

Is there a way to give itch.io peeps a steam key?
Make it easier to get updates and leave a steam review perhaps?
If not that's completely fine, just a little ask.

You know you can install itch.io? That way any games you install through itch.io should auto update like Steam.

I've been letting the Kickstarter backers who got the itch.io version trade it for Steam. I can do the same with you should you want. I'm only doing on a personal basis because keys are limited.
