No sound in gameplay.

There is no audio in the actual game, but there is in the menu and intro cutscene.

It was the standard branch, changing it to the 2.2 branch fixed it. But no, no other game has this issue.

you need to go into the settings on the menu and turn the sound up

if you are still having sound problems you can run the file I sent previously

Move the Sound slider back and forth in options, for me that helped

That happened to me as well. if you're playing with an xbox controller, wait untill the game takes you the sewers (there's no way to access the settings during the intro). then press the "start" button (3 lines on xbox 1 controller) which will take to the settings. volume will be the last option after sensitivity . move "volume" bar all the way up... by the way do not install the file to fix the black screen and sound issue ... that messes if the controller configuration and other settings on the keyboard. If you did install it or you messed/changed the controller input in the settings window (before you start the game), go to the games registry to remove the settings (that's where the game saves your game save and settings) "HK current user\Software\Lag Studios\Lost in Vivo (delete the entire "Lag Studio" games". Be careful though. if you have saved your progress this will also delete your game save. Hope that helps you.

the controller config messes up due to it being configured for speedrunning. this can be fixed in the menu before the game itself launches

Hey, I just wanna tell you right now that you really need to fix this registry doc you're sending people.

The controls are remapped from stock and it has all of your unlocks. It's kinda like someone passing you their memory card from midway into SH2

I am aware of that but it is easy to reconfigure the controls and reset data through the menu

Thanks for the fix it worked but i've had an issue since. I ran this file and now when I play the game it starts in new game plus mode. It did fix the sound, but after I died the fist time in the game it took me to a save room that is 3/4 of the way through the game and with all weapons. Does anyone know where the save directory is for the game so I can delete everything. It even has challenges completed. Does anyone know of a way I can start it from scratch. Also deleting data from the menu does not remove completed challenges from the game.

Removed the completed challenges and save data. Went into regedit deleted all registry data in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Lag Studios. The developer name listed on steam is KIRA so its hard to fins the games data anywhere. As expected the sound problem returned. The best method to fix is to wait for the intro to finish (where you cannot access the pause menu) and then once its finished press esc and turn the games volume up. (deleting registry info was the only way to solve this as fresh install did not remove the previous users data).
