Lost in Vivo

My Game is Really Laggy
My computer can run Garry's Mod fine, but even with the graphics on potato mode, playing windowed, and without motion blur, Lost in Vivo is very slow and choppy when I play it. Does anyone have any tips on how to make the game run more smoothly? The lag is bearable, but I'd really like to play the game without out it so I can have the best possible graphics and experience.

im having the exact problems with decent specs as well. I can run wolfenstein: the new front, but not this game, at least not without lag.

I am also experiencing a great deal of input lag (my mouse won't catch up to the game for several hundred miliseconds) with 16 gb memory and an Intel i7 7500U @ 2.7 ghz. This problem does not present in any other first person shooters I have played. What could be the cause?

I have 8 GB RAM with Intel i5 -8250U CPU @ 1.60 GHz

yeah i have 8 GB of ram also. I have to run it in the lowest graphics settings or its unbearable to play.

I hope KIRA adds some sort of update to make it less laggy or the ability to change more settings or something, because even on the lowest settings my game is still pretty laggy.

I messed with some settings and it seemed to make it better. idk if you have an AMD graphics card or not, but with the settings in the tool bar you can lock the frame rate and do other little tweeks that aren't available in the game's menus.

Okay I'll try that. Thanks.

You guys don't have too good specs, this game is more demanding than it looks. I used to play this with an gtx 1050ti and in some areas it also dropped down to 30 fps. I upgradet now... At first I was expecting the game to run super smooth with the gtx 1050ti but was suprised that is didn't afterwards. Your guys specs are not too good, and garrys mod really is not demanding, nearly every laptop or pc can run it. No wonder it doesn't run smooth

The developer seems to have implemented some acceleration to camera movement, which feels floaty, delayed. I certainly haven't experienced this in other Unity games.

No frame rate issues, stable 60fps.

I have never played a game that looked so low spec but runs like this. I understand space and in-game design aren't always tied to performance, but the way it runs seems almost comical compared to its 500mb size and ps1 graphics. I also know there is a good chance that the dev has no incentive to run more efficiently, besides the obvious crowd that sees a ps1 looking game and expects it to run on low specs despite the system requirements. I myself have learned that SR often doesn't paint an honest picture of how it could run on low specs with low settings.
