I didn't like it. It's kind of an older game at this point, but if you've played Spore with the expansion Galactic Adventures, it is a lot like one of those user made stories you beam down on to a planet to play through. You talk to a few characters, trade a few items, and then it is done. It felt like about the same quality as a lot of those too.

I looks like most people find the writing charming, but I found it to be boring. The characters don't really have distinct personalities either, they all feel like they are the same person.

I don't have any problem with the silly lighthearted tone of the game, I just don't think it does it well.

I love The French Detective!

this is an awesome cutesy game about a detective, who just so happens to be a frog, solving an incredibly hard mystery!!! i really reccomend it, its very fun and about an hour per playthrough.
