Black screen bug

when I play the game and I talk to people then sometimes the screen suddenly goes black and then I cannot do anything and I have to do everything again because I cannot save the game yet.

I'm also having this issue. I've tried with and without controller, changing the screen size and the "resolution", windowed and full screen, and no matter what I do, as soon as I interact with anything, the screen goes black. Music is still playing, and I can pull up the save/options/quit screen, but the scene is not visible. I managed to get out of the initial room and get the opening cinematic (after three tries), but multiple attempts to talk to anyone on the island or interact with the boat is a black screen.
