My experience with the free weekend.

The 1gb patch it downloaded for the free weekend encouraged to try this game again after some, I never got around to delete it after getting the demo a few months ago. Here's a very brief summary of my experience with this free weekend, directed at the devs btw.

1st Night. Quick match never worked, after browsing servers I choose the one with the least ping (100s) and when I join after 1 min it warns me of very high latency.

Next Day. Quick match never works, browsing works only after several refreshes, among all the crashes, freezes and do nothings and no error messages, I thouht it would never join a server, finally when it does join one, it goes out of sync, just like it did several months ago.

Kudos to the devs for trying so hard to get this game going, I've been following for quite a while now and the price point of this free weekend seemed interesting, yet, the networking bugs even after all the patches seem to be too many still.

Its really hard to play it with this problems but i heard and see that they are still working on it so i wait and hope that they get the bugs (the hope for no laggs : http://steamcommunity.com/app/96300/discussions/0/864956554685487776/ )

Unfortunately the game is too buggy, the textures take too much time to load, when i shoot there is no animations on the gun, just the sound of bullet hitting something, even if i put everything on the lowest spec possible the game is still laggy.
The game is really cheap and seems it would be nice without all the ♥♥♥♥♥ is going on, but it's a NO GO to me.

Tryed to play the game, didn`t spawn, vehicles problems, now when I join a server, the screen is half white, half blue :o

I actually came here to rant about the problems I had with the game, like not being able to spawn or end up being able to do nothing at all even after spawning. BUT, others did that for me already. So here I was, angry, sad and really disappointed, that I didn't even get to rant a little bit.
Seeing your post however gave me hope, that things will get better in time. Maybe I was expecting too much, or rather, I didn't know about the circumstances of this game. I am glad hat you guys work on it and I just want to take the chance, while you're here, to tell you that you do a great job. Even though I can't play right NOW, it doesn't mean the game is bad. I like the idea and design and the graphics look great too.
I cannot wait to get playing.

That's your opinion, and no-one is interested in the rubbish you are talking. The game is great, but buggy. And maybe that has changed with the patch of today.

I'll give it a second chance.

So, is this an early alpha build? Because the game certainly isn't playable. Makes me wonder why the devs did a free weekend, as pretty much anyone who actually plays the game in its current sate will be lost as a customer.

Still, I might keep the game in my wishlist if we get a playable version before the free weekend is over.

I just had a ~470MB update so I assume that was the one to fix the server issues. Can't join quick games, server browser hardly works (I have to refresh a few times to get anything to show), and I can't seem to join any game on the browser when it does work.

F*ck... I read about the offer and thought "Hey, great!" and started to install it. Then I got here and now I regret what I've done. Sounds terrible. I guess I'll uninstall it immediately then.
