P.S you can make the game way harder then session with mods. you can't make session look good and smooth with mods. and session has been in development longer.
I don't get what's going on with folks in here either. Every other studio to release a game you see hordes of people asking for mod support. I thought we gamers liked it when devs include, highlight, encourage, and offer mod suport for their game? I think it's awesome that a few modded maps will be included with 1.0!
Besides, there's been dozens of modded levels since Skater XL has been on Steam, so it won't hurt to have 2-3 maps. Easy Day had to ask permission before they could be added. The mod authors agreed so what's the outrage for? Just bitterness is all I can say.
To all the ninnies whining about "just make your game better so we don't have to use mods," doesn't that go against the philosophy of "going to the trouble" to use mods? Why use mods, but then not use said mods to make your game more realistic and fun to play? I don't get it.
Why assume Easy Day won't continue to improve the game later on? It's naive to think they won't. It would be a horrible decision to "dine and dash" after 1.0 dropping. Anything is possible I suppose, but I don't think this will happen.
Just as they added community maps, maybe they'll natively integrate mods like the Stats Mod and we can tweak and skate to our heart's content. That would be dope! One of the first mods Easy Day made native was the replay editor, maybe it will happen for the stats mod and more.
