PS4 controller not working?

but I'm having an issue with the ps4 not working on skater xl? it work with other game, and inside steam.
any suggestions?

My controller (xbox one verified controller, looks the same as xbox one, just wired) doesn't work anymore in SXL since a week or two or something. Tried some stuff. Just now uninstalled and reinstalled. Fresh install on my ssd instead of the hdd. Controller still doesn't work. Only in SXL. Other games are working perfectly fine with controller.

i read someone had to unplug their racing wheel to get their controller working with skater xl

try unplugging every usb device connected to your pc including mouse and keyboard and just plug in the xbox one controller

Yeah... but really no.. Unplugging all usb devices, and only the controller plugged in? My pc isn't a dedicated box for sxl. I mean, I read that somewhere in a faq or something, but to ask me to unplug all, inlcuding mouse and keyboard, to play sxl? Who the fck do they think they are? I love sxl, but that's ridiculous.

Same problem here. Controller dosent work anymore ...

I actually found a fix for the issue! At least for Me. I was using DS4windows, however this collides with steams default controller settings.
So now, I don't even use DS4, and only use steam.
In the controller options, you can change what you're using as well. Hope this helps
